Overview

Using a combination of classroom-based learning and hands-on practical sessions, this one-day PASMA Combined Tower & Low Level Access training course will give you the knowledge to safely construct, alter, move, inspect or dismantle mobile access towers, folding low level scaffolds and work platforms.

You’ll need to pass this PASMA course before moving on to more advanced PASMA training such as Towers on Stairs or Towers with Cantilevers.

Limited to just eight delegates, this Combined Tower & Low Level Access Course covers platforms manufactured in aluminium alloy or fibreglass, approved to BS EN 1004: 2004, and low level access units to PAS250, carrying a British Standard or equivalent mark of approval.

Students who successfull pass both theory and practical assessments will receive the relevant PASMA Certificate and Photocard, which is valid for five years.

Who Should Attend?

If your job involves the use of mobile access towers, low level access units or podiums, this PASMA course will teach you how to build, adjust, move, inspect and dismantle equipment safely and effectively.

Whether you work on a construction site, in a school, office or factory, the key principles of working with access towers and low level access units apply – inside and outside.

You must be comfortable to work at height, as part of your assessment will be to carry out a practical demonstration of building a mobile access tower.

A good understanding of the English language is also a must, as you will need to read safety notices and be able to explain parts of the manufacturer’s instruction manual.
