If you work with or near a source of electricity, it's vital you know how to carry out your work safely, to protect yourself as well as those around you.

Created by health and safety professionals, this online course in electrical safety will teach you the extreme dangers of electricity, while giving you the knowledge to implement safer working practices. You'll understand the legal requirements of working with electricity to ensure your workplace is fully compliant with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.

By the end of this electrical safety course, you'll have an awareness of general health and safety practices and feel confident in identifying potential risks.

By the end of this 1-2 hour electrical safety e-learning course, you will:

  • Working safely near wiring
  • Ways to work on equipment, machinery and installations safely
  • Working safely in explosive atmospheres

Assessment

At the end of this course, you will need to take an online exam containing 15 multiple-choice questions. The exam is marked automatically and you’ll find out your results straight away. A pass mark of 80% is required, however, if you are unsuccessful, you can re-take the exam as many times as you need to at no extra charge.
