The Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) provides support and guidance to anyone looking to create a more sustainable organisation.

This IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management is a self-paced online course that you can complete in your own time. It will give you a solid understanding of legislation and principles around environmental issues, along with the practical tools and techniques you need to improve sustainability practices within your role and across your organisation.

Anyone wishing to take this course will need to allow 35-40 hours (5 working days) to complete it.  Delegates MUST finish their training, including the exam, within 6 months of the commencement date.

Assessment

At the end of this IEMA course, you’ll be sent a link to book in suitable date and time to take a 1-hour open-book multiple-choice test. On successful completion you’ll receive an IEMA certificate and become an Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA).  As a member, you’ll have access to a range of online support, guidance and tools to further your learning and progression.
