Delegates are required to complete a multiple-choice test paper and a practical assessment as part of the Ladder Association Ladder and Step Ladder for Users Course. Successful delegates receive a Certificate and a LadderCard, a photo ID card issued by the Ladder Association, valid for five years.

The Ladder Association Ladder and Step Ladder for Users Course is aimed at anyone who may use ladders and stepladders as part of their job, and who are or will be responsible for using this equipment in the workplace.
