Which City & Guild Courses Do You List?
City & Guilds - Confined Space Low Risk Course (6160-01)
The City & Guilds Confined Space Low Risk course is best suited to those working within low-risk confined spaces, such as metre pits, valve chambers, booster pumping stations, and PRV chambers, where access is straightforward, unimpeded and flooding is unlikely. The course duration is 1 day in which delegates will be professionally trained in risk assessing potential hazards within confined spaces taking into account current legislation, regulations and guidance, as well as the use of confined space PPE & equipment such as harness tripods, safety lines, gas monitoring equipment and more.
All students will complete this City and Guilds Course by taking part in practical exercises and a written test.
City & Guilds - Confined Space Medium Risk Course (6160-02)
This training course is required for individuals whose jobs involve confined spaces that pose risks and require escape breathing apparatus to be taken in. Working in confined spaces can be a demanding, stressful and strenuous occupation, therefore delegates taking this training course should be of good health. Throughout the Confined Space Medium risk course, delegates will learn how to choose, operate, examine, and maintain confined space equipment. This will cover emergency breathing devices as well as how to correctly enter and operate in medium-risk confined spaces.
As with the low-risk confined space course, the medium-risk also requires students to complete a practical assessment and written test.
City & Guilds - Confined Space High Risk Course (6160-03)
The City & Guilds Confined Space High Risk course is 3 day competency based course which requires delegates who work in environments where full respiratory protection is required, to demonstrate a thorough comprehension of safe working practises and emergency procedures, including the usage of entry & safety equipment, and respiratory protection. Across the 3 days, students will be professionally trained on entering, working safely and exiting high risk confined spaces as well as how to correctly and safely operate with breathing apparatus and equipment. Furthermore, delegates will learn how to deal with and manage potential and present emergencies whilst remaining in line with regulations, policies and guidelines.
Those undergoing this City & Guilds course will complete practical assessments and a final written test.
City & Guilds - 18th Edition 3 Day Course (2382-18)
City & Guilds 18th Edition 3 Day Course is set out to ensure individuals attending are up to speed on the latest industry regulations regarding wiring and the correct, safe use and operation of electrician systems and relevant equipment. The 18th edition course is super important one for electricians to take due to ruling which states that from January 2019, any installation will be required to be designed in line with the 18h edition wiring regulations. This City and Guilds course is designed for electricians, electrical contractors and anyone who requires a thorough understanding of BS 7671.
The 18th Edition 3 day course is primarily a theory based course, but will involve delegates completing practical work with real life examples. At the end of the course, students will sit an online, ‘open book’ multiple choice exam.
City & Guilds - EV Charging Point Installation Course (Domestic, Commercial & Industrial) (2919-01)
Over the past few months we’ve been pleased to introduce our latest City & Guilds course to Easybook Training, the EV Charging Point Installation Course. Aimed at experienced electricians, this course will provide the skills and knowledge required to be able to install EV charging points in domestic, commercial and industrial locations. Over the 2 days, delegates will be trained in designing, installing and testing electric charging equipment, as well as learning about different types of electric vehicles, planning permission, important health and safety regulations and more.
In order to complete successfully complete the course, delegates will be required to complete an online multiple choice exam, and a series of practical tests focusing on design, installation, initial verification and domestic design.
