Being a safe driver is all about anticipating risks and minimising distractions on the road. You should be aware of fellow road users, their needs and the potential dangers everyone faces. This e-learning Driver Awareness training course has been created to give you a thorough understanding of the Highway Code, and how it applies to you.

You’ll also learn how to carry out vehicle safety checks, plan your journey ahead of time and understand how to drive in a range of severe weather conditions. You’ll be able to identify the main distractions that cause accidents on the road, and how to minimise them. And, as this course is accredited by Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Certification Service and assured by RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents), you can be sure that the information follows up-to-date guidance and best practice.

Objectives

By the end of this 1-2 hour online training course, you will:

Assessment

At the end of this driver safety course, you will need to take an online exam containing 20 multiple-choice questions. The exam is marked automatically and you’ll find out your results straight away. A pass mark of 90% is required, however, if you are unsuccessful, you can re-take the exam as many times as you need to at no extra charge.

Who is this Course for?

This course is for anyone who’s passed their driving test and would like to keep up to date with current road safety, as well as changes to the Highway Code. If you drive as part of your job, it’s even more important to be a safe and responsible driver – especially if you plan long journeys or make frequent trips.
