Healthcare professionals have created this e-learning needles and sharps training course in accordance with the Health and Safety (Sharp Instruments in Healthcare) Regulations to bring you up-to-date information on the risks, responsibilities and best practice.

There’s no time limit to complete the course, so you can learn at your own pace. However, it should take you around 2 hours. It’s accredited and assured by CPD and RoSPA Qualifications, too.

  • Disposing of sharps safely
  • Waste stream segregation systems

Assessment

At the end of this course, you’ll take a multiple-choice test of 12 questions. It’s marked automatically, and you’ll need 75% to pass. If you don’t pass first time, you’re welcome to re-take the test as many times as you need to at no extra cost.

You’ll receive a CPD-certified digital certificate straight away.

As well as conforming to CPD guidelines, this course is certified by the widely recognised Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Qualifications Assurance System.
