Being exposed to high levels of noise can cause permanent and irreversible damage to your hearing. It can be life changing and devastating for the sufferer, so it’s vital that workers who carry out their job roles in loud environments are well protected.

But it’s not just our hearing that can suffer – general health and wellbeing can be impacted, too, if safety measures aren’t put in place.

This online course in noise awareness looks at ways to keep people’s exposure to an absolute minimum. You’ll explore the risks associated with noise emissions and what legislation is in place for employers.

Find out how to carry out a risk assessment, put control measures in place and protect yourself and your colleagues from harm.
