• An introduction to Display Screen Equipment (DSE)
• The health risks of DSE
• The Health and Safety at Work, etc. Act 1974
• Employee responsibilities and training
• What workers need to know
• What is a DSE assessment?
• Who is at risk - identifying DSE hazards
• How to evaluate risks, implement controls, record findings, review and update your assessment
• How to set up your work environment, including the display screen, keyboard, mouse, chair, software, tablets and phones
• Posture and wellbeing – understand the correct positioning from your head, right down to your feet
• The way your workspace can affect fatigue and even your vision
• How often should you take a break?

Assessment

At the end of this online course, you will take an online exam containing 15 multiple-choice questions. The exam is marked automatically and you’ll find out your results straight away. A pass mark of 80% is required, however, if you are unsuccessful, you can re-take the exam as many times as you need to at no extra charge.
