If you hire a contractor to work on site, you’re legally responsible for their health and safety. However, it’s not just the business that’s liable, the contractors themselves are responsible, too. Plus, whoever oversees health and safety procedures.

This online training course has been created by health and safety experts in accordance with UK law. It breaks down responsibilities for the employer, the contractor and the health and safety manager, so you’ll know how to communicate with contractors, monitor their work effectively and make sure everyone is adhering to health and safety regulations.

There’s no time limit to complete the course, so you can learn at your own pace. However, it’s expected to take around 2-3 hours. It’s also accredited and assured by CPD and RoSPA Qualifications.

Assessment

At the end of this e-learning course, you’ll take a multiple-choice test of 10 questions. It’s marked automatically, and you’ll need 80% to pass. If you don’t pas first time, you’re welcome to re-take the test as many times as you need to at no extra cost.

You’ll receive a CPD-certified digital certificate straight away.

As well as conforming to CPD guidelines, this course is certified by the widely recognised Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Qualifications Assurance System.
