From fuel and pesticides to solvents and gases, it’s vital that toxic, flammable and corrosive materials are handled correctly, to comply with UK legislation, as well as to protect workers, the public, animals and the environment.

This 2-hour Spill Management e-learning course outlines the risks associated with various dangerous substances, COMAH threshold limits and threats to the local environment. You’ll learn how to prevent spillages, control a leak and limit the impact of a harmful spillage.

The course has been written by health and safety experts in accordance with UK legislation. There’s no time limit to complete this Spill Management course, so you can work through at your own pace. It’s also accredited and assured by CPD and Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Qualifications.

Assessment

At the end of this online Spill Management course, you’ll take a multiple-choice test of 15 questions. It’s marked automatically, and you’ll need 80% to pass. If you don’t pas first time, you’re welcome to re-take the test as many times as you need to at no extra cost.

You’ll receive a CPD-certified digital certificate straight away. As well as conforming to CPD guidelines, this course is certified by the widely recognised Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Qualifications Assurance System.

Although there is no expiry date for this training, we recommend that you refresh your knowledge every 12 months to keep up to date. You’ll receive a ‘recommended renewal date’ on your certificate
