This online Asbestos Awareness training course is designed for anyone who works with, or may come into contact with, asbestos in their workplace. It explains what asbestos is, why an Asbestos Management Plan is essential, and the serious health conditions linked to asbestos exposure and how they affect the body. The course also provides practical guidance on what to do in the event of accidental exposure.
This IATP-accredited Asbestos Awareness (Category A) course has been developed by health and safety professionals to comply with UK Health and Safety regulations, and is also approved by IOSH
Please note: This is not a practical training course. If you plan to work directly with asbestos or ACMs, you will need additional training beyond this general awareness course, with practical demonstrations of control measures and personal protective equipment.
