CITB ONLINE SSSTS Course (Remote Learning)

Moving into a supervisory role brings a fresh layer of safety responsibility, and the CITB Online SSSTS Course (Remote Learning) brings that grounding straight to your screen. This two day virtual course is delivered remotely using instructor-led online learning, and the online course content remains the same as classroom-based SSSTS training, though delegates attend a scheduled, interactive class via Zoom video conferencing rather than in person.

Intended for those who have, or are about to acquire, supervisory responsibilities, the CITB Online SSSTS Course (Remote Learning) gives supervisors the ability to understand health, safety, welfare and environmental issues, along with their legal responsibilities relevant to their work activities, highlighting the need to promote health and safety in order to supervise effectively. The course is endorsed by the United Kingdom Contractors Group as the standard training for all supervisors working on UKCG sites. Anyone weighing up remote against classroom delivery may also want to look at the CITB SSSTS Course, which covers identical content in person for those who prefer face-to-face learning.

To take part, delegates need access to a laptop or desktop computer with a webcam, microphone and speaker; tablets aren't supported for this course. Delegates under the age of 18 must provide written consent from a parent or guardian to attend successfully, and it takes approximately two to three weeks for the CITB to issue an E-Cert following successful completion.
