Online Instructor-Led Training Courses

Online Instructor-Led Training, also known as Virtual Instructor-Led Training or VILT, combines the flexibility of online study with the real-time input of a live tutor and classmates. Instead of working through material on your own, you join scheduled classes over Zoom from a laptop or desktop, with the same chance to ask questions and talk through real-world scenarios that you'd get in a physical room.

The syllabus, materials and assessment criteria are identical to our classroom-based courses. Only the delivery method changes, which makes VILT well suited to anyone who wants the structure and accountability of a live course without travelling to a training centre.

We have VILT sessions with many of the sector's leading awarding bodies. CITB courses such as Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme sit alongside IOSH programmes like Managing Safely, covering site safety, health and safety management and a range of accredited qualifications. Because each course follows a fixed timetable, VILT works well for learners who prefer a set schedule, and for those based outside major towns and cities where in-person options can be harder to find.
