ONLINE EUSR SHEA Gas Course (Remote Learning)

If you work in the utility sector with gas, you'll need your SHEA Gas card (EUSR card) to access sites and work legally. This 1 day online instructor-led training course helps you meet the required safety standards to work with gas, as set by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). Designed by experts in the gas industry, especially for utility workers, you'll explore real-life scenarios and get to grips with complex topics, leaving with in-depth knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and how it applies to your role.

A fully remote, instructor-led course that you can access anywhere, this interactive training is led by experts and recognised under the CSCS Alliance scheme. Anyone whose work also involves confined spaces alongside gas-related work should look at the City & Guilds Confined Space Medium Risk (6160-09) Course, since gas industry work and confined space environments often overlap on the same sites.

Once you've completed all modules successfully, you'll be registered on the Energy & Utility Skills Register (EUSR) and issued your SHEA Gas card. EUSR registration is valid for five years and will act as your "passport" to work at utility sites in the UK. This course is also a valid route to renew your SHEA EUSR registration, if yours is due to expire soon.

A good understanding of spoken and written English is necessary to attend and complete the course successfully, and students are required to complete their training on a laptop or desktop computer with a webcam, microphone and speaker; tablets aren't supported.
