If you’re an experienced electrician, this City & Guilds Electric Vehicle Charging Point course will give you the skills and knowledge you need to become competent at installing EV charging equipment in domestic, commercial and on-street settings.

Over two days, you’ll learn how to design, install and test a range of electric charging equipment.
Then, once you’ve passed the practical and online assessments, you can register as an authorised installer on the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (OLEV) and start earning straight away. You'll also be entitled to join the OZEV register to claim government grants per installation.
