The CPCS A31 Ride on Roller Course provides candidates with the skills and accreditation to operate an A31 Ride on Roller safely, effectively and in line with health and safety legislation. This plant training course is accredited by the Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) and is delivered as a combination of tutorials and practical training.
Delegates are required to have a basic knowledge of current health & safety issues, as well as a good understanding of written and spoken English. In order to successfully complete training, candidates must have a CITB Health, Safety & Environmental touch screen test which has been completed within two years of the course examination date. Anyone whose role also involves operating a forward tipping dumper or telescopic handler may also want to look at the CPCS A09 Forward Tipping Dumper Course or CPCS A17c Telescopic Handler (Novice) Course, since all three share the same CPCS Red Card structure and prerequisite requirements.
The CPCS Red trained operator card confirms a level of core skills, knowledge and understanding that can be applied in the workplace; please note that this card is non-renewable, though it can be upgraded to a Blue CPCS Competence Card on completion of a Level 2 NVQ qualification. For experienced operators or those who require a re-test only, please contact one of the booking team on 01892 543000.
