This one day Introduction to Management & Supervision course will be delivered remotely, using instructor-led online learning. The course content remains the same as the classroom-based Introduction to Management & Supervision 1 Day Course, though you'll attend a scheduled, interactive class via Zoom video conferencing rather than in person. Moving into a managerial or supervisory role isn't just about taking on more responsibility; in order to succeed, you'll often need to change your mindset as well as your behaviour, and this introductory course helps you gain the skills you need to rise to the challenge of your first line management position.
To take part, you'll need access to a tablet, laptop or desktop computer with a webcam, microphone and speaker. Once the fundamentals covered here feel comfortable, many delegates progress onto the Essential Management Skills 2 Day Course, building a deeper, more rounded management skill set.
Since coaching features as a key theme throughout the day, this course also pairs naturally with the Coaching Skills 1 Day Course, giving new managers the chance to develop that specific skill further. There's no formal assessment for this course, but delegates receive a Certificate of Attendance for their records and qualify for 5.5 CPD hours.
