CITB ONLINE SSSTS Refresher Course (Remote Learning)

Keeping supervisory knowledge sharp matters as much as gaining it in the first place, and the CITB Online SSSTS Refresher Course (Remote Learning) brings that update straight to your screen. This one day virtual course is delivered remotely using instructor-led remote learning, and the course content remains the same as classroom-based training, though delegates attend a scheduled, interactive class via Zoom video conferencing rather than in person.

Intended for those who currently hold the Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme certificate and need to update their skills and knowledge in line with current legislation, the CITB Online SSSTS Refresher Course (Remote Learning) is highly interactive, delivered through case studies, classroom discussion, group work and individual or group presentations. Anyone weighing up remote against classroom delivery may also want to look at the CITB SSSTS Course, which covers identical original content in person for those who prefer face-to-face learning. The course is endorsed by the United Kingdom Contractors Group as the standard training for all supervisors working on UKCG sites.

To take part, delegates need access to a laptop or desktop computer with a webcam, microphone and speaker; tablets aren't supported for this course. Delegates under the age of 18 must provide written consent from a parent or guardian to attend successfully, and it takes approximately two to three weeks for the CITB to issue an E-Cert following successful completion.

Please note that any delegate who doesn't attend before their certificate's end date risks losing their right to attend a refresher course and will instead need to attend the full two day course again.
