ONLINE IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management (Remote Learning)

Overview

The 5 day IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management course will be delivered remotely, using instructor-led online learning. You’ll attend a scheduled, interactive class via Zoom video conferencing. For this, you will need access to a table, laptop or desktop computer with a webcam, microphone and speaker.

This is a self-paced online course that you can complete in your own time. It will give you a solid understanding of legislation and principles around environmental issues, along with the practical tools and techniques you need to improve sustainability practices within your role and across your organisation.

Anyone wishing to take this course will need to allow 35-40 hours (5 working days) to complete it.  Delegates MUST finish their training, including the exam, within 6 months of the commencement date.

PLEASE NOTE - Results are usually recieved within 2 weeks and certification up to 4 weeks

Assessment

At the end of this IEMA course, the exam will be conducted online, via a Zoom video call with your tutor, and is a 1-hour open-book multiple-choice test. On successful completion you’ll receive an IEMA certificate and become an Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA).  As a member, you’ll have access to a range of online support, guidance and tools to further your learning and progression.

This course is for anyone who works in the environmental sustainability industry, as well as those who would like to learn more about general environmental management and improve standards within their current role. If you’re interested in a career in environmental management, this course will give you an excellent starting point.

There are no entry requirements. Following the course, you’ll become an Associate Member of IEMA, with access to essential tools and resources.
