How long is the CITB SMSTS Course?
The CITB SMSTS course takes 5 days. During this time, the SMSTS course covers health and safety, risk assessments as well as new legislations. By the end of the course, site managers should be able to implement any new legislations, industry best practice as well as being able to state their duties with regards to health and safety. The course enables the delegate to have a better understanding of the legal, moral and social responsibilities of their role.
What will I gain through Site Manager Training?
Upon successful completion of this 5 day SMSTS Training Course, the delegate will be given a certificate to show they have completed the course. The SMSTS certificate acknowledges that the delegate has been given effective health and safety knowledge to manage a site.
Once the initial SMSTS certificate has expired, the delegate is able to complete an SMSTS Refresher course. This SMSTS Refresher training is 2 days in duration and covers changes to UK legislation which have come into effect as well as refreshing all the previous course information. Once this course has been completed the delegate will receive a new SMSTS Certificate.
