Construction sites leave a footprint that goes well beyond the finished build, and the CITB SEATS Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme Course gives site management the knowledge to keep that impact firmly under control. Aimed at those overseeing day-to-day site operations, it covers the environmental risks construction work carries and how to manage them responsibly, legally and practically. Many delegates come to this course having already completed the CITB Health and Safety Awareness Course, since environmental responsibility naturally follows on from personal safety once someone moves into a site management role.
It's also a natural companion to the CITB Health and Safety for Directors Course for organisations wanting environmental accountability understood at every level, from the boardroom down to day-to-day site operations. For those looking to build a broader supervisory skill set, this course pairs well with the CITB SSSTS Course or, for larger sites, the CITB SMSTS Course, giving site managers a rounded grasp of both personal safety and environmental compliance.
A good standard of spoken and written English is necessary to get the most from the day and complete the end-of-course assessment successfully.
