


Using a combination of theory and practical tests, this 1 day experienced worker assessment test only course has been created to provide skilled users with the necessary certification.
The NPORS course will consist of hands-on experience in carrying out safety checks, loading, setting down, manoeuvring and maintaining the machine. You’ll also leave with a clear understanding of your role and responsibilities, in line with the National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS) safety requirements.
On successful completion of the test delegates will be able to demonstrate they have the required skills and knowledge to safely operate a Counterbalanced Lift Truck.

Delegates are required to undertake a theory test of 25 questions and practical test. Successful students will be awarded the NPORS Operator Card, which is valid for 3 or 5 years.
Anyone wishing to obtain the NPORS CSCS Operator Card are also required to hold the relevant CITB Health, Safety & Environment touchscreen test dated within the last 2 years. This card is only valid for 2 years and is NOT renewable.
This course is for anyone who operates, or wishes to operate an industrial Counterbalance Lift Truck, and has a minimum of 18 months experience. Some operators take this course to gain the relevant certification as proof of experience, or to refresh their knowledge.
