The NVQ Level 2 in Plastering (Construction) Solid course is aimed at candidates who are already working as a plasterer and want to achieve a qualification that recognises their skills and expertise. On successful completion of the course, students will be able to apply for their CSCS Blue Skilled Workers Card.
Practical skills taught on the course include how to apply solid and finishing plaster and how to repair fibrous plaster components. Learners can also select a specialism such as laying sand and cement screeds or installing mechanically fixed plasterboard.
Applicants MUST be at least 16 years old and have a good understanding of the English language. This NVQ course is designed so the learner can gain the qualification while at work and enhance their career prospects.
