The NVQ Level 2 in Wood Occupations course is aimed at candidates who are already working as a joiner or carpenter and want to achieve a qualification that recognises their skills and expertise. On successful completion of this NVQ course, students will be able to apply for their CSCS Blue Skilled Workers Card.
The main focus of the course is to demonstrate the learners occupational competence in wood.
Applicants MUST be at least 16 years old and have a good understanding of the English language. The course is designed so the learner can gain the qualification while at work and enhance their career prospects.

Students will have telephone and email access to their dedicated assessor throughout the working week. Assessors will be on-hand to answer any questions and offer assistance where required
The current cost of the CSCS card is £36. Students will be required to apply for their CSCS card directly on receipt of their certificate.
NVQ certificates typically takes just 10 working days to be issued on completion of the course.
