NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Work Supervision
The NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Work Supervision course is aimed at candidates who are currently working as a subcontractor, supervisor or foreman and who want to achieve an advanced qualification that recognises their skills and expertise. On successful completion of this NVQ course, students will be able to apply for their CSCS Gold Supervisory Card.
Topics covered by the course include coordinating work patterns, activities on site, and health and safety.
Applicants MUST be at least 16 years old and have a good understanding of the English language. The course is designed so the learner can gain the qualification while at work and enhance their career prospects.
Objectives
At the end of the NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Work Supervision course, candidates will be able to demonstrate the skills required to be a successful site supervisor.

The Level 3 Construction NVQ in Occupational Work Supervision course will cover the following topics:
- Understanding the role of a supervisor / foreman on a work site
- Health and safety

Assessment
In order to successfully complete this Level 3 construction NVQ course; an NVQ assessor will observe the learner through a range of methods:
- observations to see skills in practice
- professional discussions
- written questions
- a portfolio of evidence
*To apply for the CSCS Gold Supervisory Card candidates must have an up to date Supervisors CITB Health and Safety Touch Screen Test*
Prerequisite
Applicants MUST be at least 16 years old, have a good understanding of the English language and be working as a site supervisor or foreman on a construction site.

Students will have telephone and email access to their dedicated assessor throughout the working week. Assessors will be on-hand to answer any questions and offer assistance where required
CSCS card costs
The current cost of the CSCS card is £36. Students will be required to apply for their CSCS card directly on receipt of their certificate.

NVQ certificates typically takes just 10 working days to be issued on completion of the course.
