NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Construction Site Management
The NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Construction Site Management is aimed at providing delegates with a recognised qualification and is particularly suitable for construction site managers who want to gain the CSCS Black Manager Card.
Applicants should be working as a construction site manager or similar role in one of the below:
- building and civil engineering
- highways maintenance and repair
- residential development
- conservation
- demolition
The syllabus will cover leadership, management and planning. Training is divided into six modules and will include learner workplace tuition, practical workshops and two on-site assessments.
Applicants MUST be at least 19 years old and have a good understanding of the English language. The course is designed so the learner can gain the qualification while at work.
Objectives
At the end of the training, successful delegates will have the skills, knowledge and understanding required to be a confident construction site manager.
On successful completion, this NVQ work-related, competency-based qualification will provide confirmation to employers and industry managers that the candidate has the skills and knowledge needed to carry out the role of a Construction Site Manager.

CSCS card costs
The current cost of the CSCS card is £36. Students will be required to apply for their CSCS card directly on receipt of their certificate.
