This 35 minute IIRSM approved GDPR Training provides essential knowledge for anyone who handles personal data. It helps employees understand the core principles of data protection and how to comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation.

• Data protection – its terminology and principles
• How to process sensitive personal data legally
• Legal obligations and performance of a contract
• Obtaining consent – methods, right to withdraw and data subject rights
• Data controller, obligations and data security
• Handling breaches in reporting
• What are the processor obligations?

At the end of this course, you will be expected to take an online exam containing 15 multiple-choice questions. The exam is marked automatically and you’ll find out your results straight away.  A pass mark of 80% is required, however, if you are unsuccessful, you can re-take the exam as many times as you need to at no extra charge.
