The MEWP Training Centre

The MEWP Training Centre (TMTC) is a nationwide IPAF Approved Training Centre, founded by owner and Lead Instructor Paul Stray in November 2021, with almost 19 years of training experience behind the business. Prior to founding TMTC, Paul spent seven years as Training and Health & Safety Manager for an equipment dealer of Genie Lifts, the world's largest access platform manufacturer, giving the company genuine manufacturer-level product expertise.

The provider's specialisms span the full range of IPAF MEWP operator courses, including Static and Mobile Vertical, Static and Mobile Boom, Push Around Vertical, and PAL+ categories, alongside Demonstrator, Spotter, Harness, Load/Unload, Site Assessment, CAP, and IPAF Instructor training. Bespoke courses cover abrasive wheels, aluminium towers, manual handling, and traffic marshal training, while a dedicated forklift range includes reach, counterbalance, and pivot steer truck courses.

TMTC also offers MEWP equipment hire and safety harness inspections, drawing on an established supply chain of equipment providers to give clients a more complete service around their training needs.
