UK Tool Hire Group Ltd has grown from its origins as MB Welding Supplies in 1995 into a wider group spanning tool and plant hire, powered access, and construction training. The company moved into general tool hire in 2003, launched a Powered Access division in 2007, and became a training provider in 2014, operating under UK Industries Training from a purpose-built training centre near Nottingham.

The training division specialises in IPAF and PASMA courses for powered access and tower safety, RTITB-accredited forklift training across counterbalance, reach, and telehandler categories, and CITB courses including SSSTS and SMSTS for site supervisors and managers. Further specialisms include CSCS Touch-Screen Testing, first aid, asbestos awareness, confined space, face fit testing, and a wide range of practical health and safety courses such as abrasive wheels, manual handling, and slinging and lifting.

With over 200 courses and more than 30 years of combined training experience, UK Industries Training operates across Nottingham, Derby, Newcastle, Cambridgeshire, and the wider East and West Midlands, supported by a modern facility featuring dedicated warehouse space and 12 fully equipped classrooms.

Accreditations include RTITB, CITB, PASMA, and IOSH, alongside Access Alliance membership, giving learners confidence in the recognised standard of training delivered across the group's growing national footprint.
