Trainbase Ltd is a premium construction training centre based at Burnt House Farm in Bedlington, Northumberland, founded by director and centre manager Tony Rutherford following a £350,000 investment in purpose-built facilities designed to fill a gap in high-quality, fully accredited training provision in the North East. The centre operates across a 20-acre site incorporating a 15-acre all-weather digging area, office accommodation, and dedicated training, testing, and conference rooms, giving delegates access to realistic, practical training conditions using fully modern, well-maintained machinery.

The provider's specialisms centre on CPCS and NPORS plant operator training across an extensive range of categories, including 180 and 360 excavators, forward and tracked rear tipping dumpers, telehandlers, wheel loading shovels, dozers, and backhoe loaders, alongside EUSR qualifications, Level 2 Plant NVQs, NRSWA streetworks, CITB Site Safety Plus courses including SMSTS and SSSTS, and first aid training. The company is accredited by CPCS, NPORS, and EUSR, with all courses delivered by experienced, knowledgeable instructors who consistently receive outstanding delegate feedback.
