WS Training

WS Training Ltd is an Ofsted-rated Good independent training provider based in Suffolk, operating four learning centres across Ipswich, Lowestoft, and Haverhill, with a training and apprenticeship hub in Bury St Edmunds. Founded in 1996, the company supports learners and employers across three interconnected divisions: Further Education, Apprenticeships, and Commercial Training, giving it a distinctively broad reach from supported learning for young people through to professional workforce development.

The further education arm supports learners aged 16 to 25, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Education, Health and Care Plans, achieving an 82% success rate among SEND learners. Apprenticeships span business administration, customer service, and a growing portfolio of standards, with a 95% end-point assessment pass rate and 92% of apprentices remaining in employment post-completion.

The commercial training portfolio is wide-ranging, covering health and safety including NEBOSH, IOSH Managing Safely, manual handling, and first aid, plant and construction training including CITB Site Safety Plus, PASMA, NRSWA streetworks, and CAT and Genny, environmental training, ILM leadership and management qualifications at Levels 3 and 5, teaching and learning courses, IT including Microsoft 365 and Power BI, and HR and personal development programmes.

Training is available to approximately 3,000 commercial delegates annually, delivered by a team of consistently observed and highly rated tutors across open, dedicated, and blended delivery formats.
