CISTC

The Construction Industry Safety Training Centre (CISTC) was established in 2004 and specialises in health and safety training for the construction sector, holding accreditation as a CITB Approved Training Organisation. The centre is also a fully accredited CPCS and CITB Site Safety Plus provider, with facilities to deliver the Health, Safety and Environment touch screen test for CSCS purposes.

CISTC focuses on supporting students, employers, and the local community to address ongoing skills shortages in construction, with management courses designed to create clear pathways into more senior industry roles. Training is delivered by professionally qualified instructors combining high academic standards with genuinely hands-on, practical experience across a range of construction activities.

With a 92% pass rate, CISTC has built a strong reputation for thorough, effective preparation, supported by an admin team that proactively tracks card renewal dates to help candidates avoid lapses in certification. The centre also has ambitions to become a technical centre of excellence, with plans to incorporate virtual reality simulators, video technology, and 3D scanning into its future training fleet.

Based near Farnham, Surrey, just minutes from Junction 5 of the M3, CISTC offers competitively priced, nationally recognised qualifications, with CITB Levy Payers able to claim funding back on eligible CPCS and CITB courses.
